The Import Photos tool allows you to upload Photo IDs into IDpack using a ZIP file. Photos are matched to records using their ID numbers, for example 100580.jpg. This feature is available upon request and enabled at our discretion. Please contact us to request activation.

Requirements

Make sure the following requirements are met before starting the import:

  • All photos must be included in a single ZIP file
  • Photos must be placed at the root level of the ZIP file and not inside folders
  • The ZIP file size must not exceed 50 MB
  • Supported image formats include JPEG, GIF, TIFF, BMP, PNG, and WebP
  • Photos are automatically resized to 864x1080 pixels for consistency
  • Each photo should ideally remain under 100 KB to ensure optimal performance
  • Existing photos with the same ID number are overwritten without confirmation
  • Do not close the browser tab while the import process is running

Best Practices

  • Backup Existing Photos Export and save current photos before importing new ones
  • Optimize Images Compress photos to reduce file size while maintaining acceptable quality
  • Verify File Names Ensure each photo file name matches the corresponding record ID number, for example 123456.jpg
  • Test with a Small Batch Begin with a small test ZIP file to validate the import process
