Designer - Checkpoint SetupDesigner – Checkpoint Setup

The Checkpoint Setup module in Designer allows you to configure the information displayed when a badge is scanned using IDpack Checkpoint. These options control what appears in the Checkpoint preview and what information is available to users during badge validation, check-in, and visual verification.

The Checkpoint Setup module is used with QR codes configured for IDpack Checkpoint. The display options are selected using checkboxes, making it easy to show only the information required for your project.

Checkpoint Setup

  • Show Record Status – Display the record status when the badge is scanned, such as active, inactive, revoked, or expired.
  • Show Photo ID – Display the cardholder’s Photo ID for visual verification.
  • Show Color Code – Display the assigned color code name and color for quick role, access, or category identification.
  • Check-in System – Enable the check-in/check-out feature in IDpack Checkpoint. When this option is enabled, Login Required is automatically activated.
  • Login Required – Require users to log in before scanning badges with IDpack Checkpoint.

Show Badge Issuer Info

The Show Badge Issuer Info options control which project and issuer details are displayed in IDpack Checkpoint.

  • Badge Title – Display the badge or project title associated with the scanned badge.
  • Issued By – Display the name of the organization or issuer.
  • Issuer Phone – Display the issuer phone number.
  • Issuer Location – Display the issuer location or address.

Fields to Show

The Fields to Show options allow you to choose which record fields are displayed in IDpack Checkpoint. These fields come from the fields selected in the Field Definitions tab.

Each available field can be enabled or disabled using a checkbox. This lets you control exactly what information appears when a badge is scanned, such as the cardholder’s name, title, email, location, website, employee ID, or other project-specific fields.

Preview

The IDpack Checkpoint – Preview area shows how the selected options will appear when a badge is scanned. Use this preview to confirm that the correct information is displayed before saving the project.
