Designer – SVG Flag Tool

The SVG Flag tool dynamically inserts a country flag based on the record Country field. The flag updates automatically according to the assigned country code.

This feature is useful for events, conferences, and sports competitions where displaying participant nationality on a badge is important. The flag is rendered as a scalable SVG graphic, ensuring sharp and clear output on 300, 600, or 1200 dpi printers.

How It Works

When a record contains a Country field, IDpack automatically displays the corresponding flag. If no country is defined, a Default Country can be specified.

Available Flags

IDpack supports 256 country flags. Below is an example of commonly used flags:

Position

The Position properties define the placement and size of an element within the design. Adjusting these values allows precise control over where the flag appears and how much space it occupies.

• Left (X) – Sets the horizontal position of the element, measured from the left edge of the design.
• Top (Y) – Sets the vertical position of the element, measured from the top edge of the design.
• Width – Defines the horizontal size of the flag.
• Height – Defines the vertical size of the flag.

Adjusting these properties ensures the flag is properly aligned and scaled within the design.

Properties

• Visible

  Controls whether the flag is displayed in the badge preview and print output. When unchecked, the flag remains in the design but is not printed.

• Default Country

  Specifies a fallback country flag when no country is defined for a record. If left empty, no flag is displayed.

• Opacity

  Adjust the flag opacity using predefined levels: None, 25%, 50%, 75%, or 90%.
