The Square tool allows you to add square or rectangular shapes to your design with customizable size, color, opacity, and stroke settings. When used with the Color Code system, colors can be assigned dynamically based on a record category.
For example, if a record is categorized as Manager and red is assigned to that category, the square will automatically be filled with red when the badge is printed. Likewise, if a record belongs to the Media category and orange is assigned, the square will be filled with orange.
This feature is useful for creating designs with squares, rectangles, or circles set to Fill with Color Code. It provides clear visual identification for roles such as Managers, Media, Volunteers, Sponsors, and more. Common use cases include events, sports competitions, and security environments where quick role recognition is required.
Position
The Position properties define the placement and size of an element within the design. Adjusting these values allows precise control over where the shape appears and how much space it occupies.
- Left (X) – Sets the horizontal position of the element, measured from the left edge of the design.
- Top (Y) – Sets the vertical position of the element, measured from the top edge of the design.
- Width – Defines the horizontal size of the shape.
- Height – Defines the vertical size of the shape.
Adjusting these properties ensures the shape is properly aligned and scaled within the design.
