Designer – Signature tool

The Signature tool adds a signature placeholder to the design, allowing the badge holder to sign their record using a signature pad such as Scriptel. The captured signature image is then printed on the badge.

Position

The Position properties define the placement and size of an element within the design. Adjusting these values allows precise control over where the signature appears and how much space it occupies.

• Left (X) – Sets the horizontal position of the element, measured from the left edge of the design.
• Top (Y) – Sets the vertical position of the element, measured from the top edge of the design.
• Width – Defines the horizontal size of the signature area.
• Height – Defines the vertical size of the signature area.

Adjusting these properties ensures the signature is properly aligned and scaled within the design.

Properties

• Visible

  Controls whether the signature is displayed in the badge preview and print output. When unchecked, the signature placeholder remains available in Designer and during record editing, but it is not printed on the badge.

• Opacity

  Adjust the signature opacity using predefined levels: None, 25%, 50%, 75%, or 90%.

• Horizontal Align

  Controls the horizontal alignment of the signature:

  • Left – Aligns the signature to the left edge.
  • Center – Centers the signature horizontally.
  • Right – Aligns the signature to the right edge.
