MONTREAL, March 4, 2020 – IDpack, a trusted leader in ID solutions for more than 20 years, is introducing its new IDpack Cloud (“IDC”) platform. IDC is the first Software as a Service application (”SaaS”) solution for designing, managing and printing plastic ID cards online with a low cost annual subscription fee.
Access your ID cards anywhere in the world (24 hours a day, 7 days a week) from any modern web browser with our cloud-based solution. IDpack Cloud helps organizations control their security requirements with access control cards, price tags, membership cards, convention badges, student ID cards, event passes, and other types of ID cards. IDC supports all single and double-sided card printers like Evolis, HID Fargo, Datacard, Zebra and Magicard.

Your information is now accessible anytime, from any modern web browser used on your desktop, laptop or tablet. Each organization receives a unique encryption key and all sensitive data is encrypted in our database using that key for maximum security.
With this new platform, we are also introducing a new approach. Thanks to our 20 years of experience selling our IDpack software for Windows, we have learned two key things. First, most of our customers don’t use the full potential of the card designer and create very basic card designs with a logo, picture, first and last name, title and barcode on a white background. Second, they struggle with the database because creating a database and modifying it is not a simple task and requires expertise that most organizations don’t have.
Therefore, IDpack Cloud allows us to take full control over the design and database for you. You can choose your design from our large database of good-looking templates and then fully customize it with Designer. You can change all visual aspects on our templates by editing, changing or hiding images, logos, static texts, dynamic fields or barcodes.
Our templates include a default set of fields (first name, last name, birthdate, organization, etc.) to be used, but they can be completely customized using our field definitions. You can select up to 50 fields per project. That means you can concentrate on your business and get amazing cards with the fields you need for the appropriate data collection without any headaches.
All our templates are made with vector graphics and we are adding new ones every week. Whether you print in 300, 600 or 1200 DPI, the quality will always be perfect.
