IDpack Cloud offers unique templates to create ID cards with QR codes that can be scanned anytime, anywhere in the world, from a mobile phone to verify the card’s validity in real-time.
Employers or supervisors can edit a card’s information from the Cloud, activate or deactivate a card, add special notes, and much more. With IDC solutions, any employee can carry the card at all times. As the employer or supervisor, you can update the card’s status daily online using our Cloud application for officials to check instantly.
We use a 128-bit encryption random number to uniquely identify each card printed. That gives 5,316,911,983,139,663,491,615,228,241,121,400,000 (5.3 undecillion) possible combinations.
The following information is displayed when scanning the QR code:
- Card issuer
- Card issuer phone
- Card issuer location
- Card issue date
- Card status
- Color code
- Color code name
- First name
- Last name
- Title
- Organization
- Notes
- Picture
How does it work?
First, create a new Project in Designer and select a template with a QR code, save the Project and click Move to Active. When Done, simply click Open in Producer.
To create and print a card in Producer, click Add New, enter your data, capture a picture and save. Now, click Preview Card and print it.
Now you have an employee ID Card for officials to verify. You can check the QR Code with a PDA like the Datalogic Memor20 or phones like iPhone or Android phone. Open the QR code scanner and scan the QR Code. You will be redirected to our secure website with the employee’s information. This is the information an official will see.
By default, new cards are set to Active. In case you want to deactivate a card, just open your employee record in Producer and click Move to Inactive. You can rescan the QR Code and see the status change in real-time.
*Add a photo ID for higher security. The system is sold separately. Complementary to digital and paper certificates. Available for IDC Business, IDC Professional, or IDC Enterprise plans. QR codes are not available with the IDC Starter or IDC Element version. Do not replace any official documents.
