The Template List is your central hub for managing all badge templates within your organization. From this page, you can create new templates, edit existing ones, delete outdated designs, and organize your templates with ease. Powerful tools, such as search and filtering options, make it simple to locate templates based on specific criteria, saving you time and effort.

Whether you’re working with a single design or managing a large library of templates, the Template List provides a streamlined interface to keep everything organized. You can also preview templates, track their status (active, inactive, or trash), and sort them by various attributes such as name, layout, or modification date. Designed for efficiency, this page ensures that managing your badge templates is both intuitive and effective.

  • Add Template – Create a new template.
  • Import Template – Import designs from EPI Suite® or CardStudio® 2.0 into IDpack.
  • Reset Filters – Reset the filters to default view.

Search & Filtering Options

The toolbar offers powerful tools to quickly find and manage items. On the left, enter keywords in the search box and click the Search Icon to display matching results. On the right, use the dropdown menu to filter items by status: All, Active, Inactive, or Trash. This makes it easy to focus on specific groups.

Sortable Columns

Click on column headers to sort data in ascending or descending order. The and icons indicate the current sort direction.

The pagination controls allow you to navigate through large datasets efficiently. You can set the number of items per page using the Items per page dropdown (12 to 96) and view the current range of displayed items and total records (e.g., 1-12 of 57 items). You can also see the current page number and total pages (e.g., 1 of 5 pages), jump to a specific page using the Pages dropdown, and use the navigation arrows to move between pages one at a time.

Table

Templates are sorted by name. Each row represents a template in IDC. Click anywhere in the row to edit the template.

The table of Template List includes the following columns:

  • – Template status: Trash (brown), Inactive (red), or Active (green).
  • – Select templates to perform Bulk Actions.
  • – Preview the template design.
  • Template # – A unique identifier for each template.
  • Template Name – The name of the template.
  • In Use – Indicates whether the template is actively in use.
  • Front/Back – Specifies if the template is designed for the front or back. To create double-sided cards, assign separate front and back templates in the Project Manager.
  • Layout – Indicates the template’s layout, such as Portrait or Landscape.
  • Color Code – Displays whether color coding is enabled for the template.
  • Format – Specifies the paper or card format used by the template.
  • Last Modified – The Date column for each template displays either the date it was Inserted or the date it was Last Modified, depending on whether the template has been updated.
